Step 1: Set up your live streaming account
We recommend using Zoom as your Live Streaming platform but any platform that offers a shareable meeting link can be used. Open your account, set up the appropriate meetings and find the shareable meeting URL.
Step 2: Setting up your Live Streaming activities
If you use an alternative platform to Zoom for your live stream classes:
2. Click 'Use Reception' to access each venue
3. Click 'Activities', and then next to the activity click 'Edit'
4. On the 'Physical attendance or live stream' option (individual classes can be configured separately) select 'Live Stream Only'.
5. Head to the "Classes" section of your partner portal and insert the unique link to the appropriate class and click "Update Live Stream"
The live stream link will be made available to the member when they "Check in"
If a participant is required to have their video on for the class, please ensure this is added to your activity description or 'Informational notice'.
If you are using unique links for every class, it is very important that the links are updated regularly, the "Classes" section will allow you to add the links 3 weeks in advance.
The most efficient way to manage the admin of streaming your classes online will be to use a meeting link that stays the same where your attendees are invited to arrive and leave the class with the same link.
Important note: If you require your members to have their camera on during your Live Stream session then please be sure to note this information with the Activity Description and/or Informational Notice.
Step 3: Invite your customers to book into your classes
Share the link to your MoveGB profile page with your customers so that they can see and book your classes.
You can find the link to view your unique page in the “Directory” section of your Partner Portal.
As your classes will now be displayed to any user on Move and thousands of pay-as-you-go customers, your classes will then be bookable by people all over the country, so ask your members to leave a review and this will help you showcase how awesome your classes are to all those browsing the site.
Important note: if you are recording the live stream for promotional purposes you must receive consent from participants.
