Having troubles with your wireless connection via Zoom?

Updated over a week ago

Whether it's an issue with latency, frozen screens, poor quality audio, or getting disconnected from the meeting - we hope these quick tips and tricks will help!

For those experiencing issues with your Wi-Fi connection, there are some really quick and easy things you can check for that will make the world of difference. We've listed them some of those steps here for you to try:

  1. Check your Internet bandwidth by using an online speed test. There are plenty of free websites you can use to test this such as nperf or Speedtest.

  2. Try to connect directly via Wired (if your internet router has wired ports)

  3. If possible, try bringing your computer or mobile device closer to the WiFi router or access point in your home or office

For further help on where to position your router, please check out this YouTube video on how to achieve a faster Wi-Fi connection - we thought it was super helpful!

If you are still having troubles, the next thing to do is to reach out to Zoom directly or try contacting your Internet Provider as there could be an issue with your account!
